Reminder meals will be doubled today, Thursday, April 9, 2020, because there will be no meal services tomorrow, Friday, April 10, 2020. Meals are packed and ready to go and now include breakfast, lunch and supper! There are three ways to receive meals: 1. Pick up meals at Von Renner or Hurd Barrington Elementary from 11:00am - 12:00pm 2. Food Truck Delivery: Fisherman's Bend/Martin's, Catfish Camp & Bonita Elementary (see full schedule at nclusd.org) 3. Bus Route Delivery (see full schedule at nclusd.org)

Rain or shine our nutrition services employees are here to serve our students. In accordance with CDC recommendations all staff who are interacting with the public are wearing protective masks and gloves. Meals now include a breakfast, lunch and supper! The score was close, but there can be only one 2020 Footsteps2Brilliance Reading Madness Champion... CONGRATULATIONS MR. PAIVA'S CLASS! The competition this year was tougher than ever, with classes putting up huge numbers of words read every week. This competition totaled 31,411,444 from the event tip off on February 24, 2020 to the final buzzer on March 5, 2020. Thank you to all the classes who competed, you all did a great job.

Final Bracket update
Campuses may be closed but our kitchens are still open! NCLUSD Nutrition Services provided 15,500 meals to children ages 1-18 from March 19, 2020 to March 31, 2020. Starting Monday, April 6, 2020 we will also be providing supper. Thank you to all of our wonderful staff who are making this possible! NCLUSD is continuing to work together to make a difference, today!

Lunch is served! Effective March 23, 2020 meals will be available for pickup at Von Renner and Hurd Barrington Elementary, Monday through Friday from 11:00am-12:00pm. Meals will be FREE to ALL children ages 1-18. Children must be present in order for meals to be provided. Meals will include a daily lunch and breakfast for the following school day. Hurd Barrington, Hunt, Von Renner, Yolo and OHS will all be serving until 1pm today, parents/guardians can pick up lunches via drive up or walk up. Children must be present in order for meals to be provided. Meals are FREE to ALL children from ages 1-18.
