Our first graders went on a field trip to Chabot Space and Science Center today. They had lots of fun investigating and learning about space. They went to three activities where they learned about the Sun, Earth, Moon, rockets and the fuel they use to get into space. They also went in the planetarium and saw what it will take to get a mission to Mars. There were many items used in space exploration to look at. It was a fun day!
