We are having a Zumbathon to expand library materials & campus beautification. There are many great prizes including a chance to be principal for the day, a foldable trampoline, a swing ball game, a Jumparoo Boing, Von Renner water bottles & backpacks, and if we earn at least $2,000 Mrs. Vargas will be on the roof all day. Please work on collecting donations to help our school and earn great prizes.
Please help us help our community by collecting canned foods which will help us feed those in need. Items that would be most helpful include: peanut butter, jelly, canned tuna/chicken, canned fruits/vegetables.
Each spring, most students in California participate in the statewide testing program, which is the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP). The tests in the CAASPP System provide information to teachers, parents/guardians, and students about student’s progress and readiness for college and career. In grades three through eight and grade eleven, most students take the Smarter Balance online tests for English language arts/literacy (ELA) and mathematics. Students in grades five and eight and high school, depending on which grade level in our district is assigned to take the California Science Test pilot, will take the California Science Test. Please see attached letter for additional information.
The giant Magformers in Motion kit for our STEAM lab has arrived. The students will be able to engineer multiple structures while learning about magnetism. The kit was purchased with some of the profits of our Krispy Kreme doughnut sale.
The Keva blocks, purchased with profits of our donut fundraiser have arrived. Students will be able construct towers, sculptures, and contraptions with the 1000 maple blocks.
